Methods of Contraception
Contraceptive pills: Prevent ovulation
Implants: Secrete a hormone that prevent the ovary from producing ovum
Use a condom: Worn over the penis before copulation
Intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD): Contraceptive device is inserted inside the woman's uterus
Vasectomy: Surgery to cut the sperm duct and the two ends then tied to prevent the sperm from being transported to the urethra
Ligation: Surgery to cut the Fallopian tubes and the two ends are tied to prevent ovum from meeting the sperms
